“The final days of the Third Reich”. A few years ago, a movie released with this title sparked a lot of debate around the world about the ethics of this movie. Especially regarding the way in which it portrayed the last days of Hitler’s rule, maybe the world’s most feared dictator ever.

Our tour through Berlin is unique, because it focuses on these last days of the nazi-dictatorship. We will pass by several places crucial to this regime. We will point you out which parts of Berlin were liberated by the Sovjets first and we will visit the streets where the last hours of the Second World War were fought in Berlin.

We have in-depth, academic-level knowledge about the Second-World War and will teach you intensively about the origens of the war, the kind of atrocities that were specific to WW2, then zooming in to the role Berlin played as a headquarter and central place in the nazi-rule. During the tour we will use this knowledge as a base to give you an idea how the last days of the Second World War were fought. Life, civil participation of children in the street fightings, these themes will be discussed by us.

The tour will finish in a park 10 minutes from Alexanderplatz, where we will have a cold buffet together. The tour ends at 5 p.m.
